My mom skipped meals so I could eat. I grew up on SNAP and Medicaid, then spent 21 years serving in the Navy, flying combat missions in hostile territory, and leading the next generation of Sailors and Marines. I know what accountability means—and I know Washington doesn't have it.

The system isn't broken. It's being rigged—by design—to benefit the rich and well-connected while sticking working families with the bill.

I'm running to rewrite the rules.
