The New York State Public Campaign Finance Program provides candidates running for statewide or state legislative office the ability to qualify for public matching funds based on small donations ($5-$250) from residents in their district. Funds donated above $250 or from residents outside of Assembly District 52 are not matched with public funds. The maximum contribution for State Assembly is $3,000 for the Primary and $3,000 for the General Election, totaling $6,000 maximum per election cycle.
