Johnson County Democratic Party (KS)

Change is Progress! And YOU Are Progress!

You've heard the saying, "All politics are local." Well, it's true and it doesn't get any more local than your County party. Since the 2016 elections we have made incredible progress toward making Johnson County more fair, inclusive, and prosperous. Here's just some of the milestones you've helped us achieve since the 2016 election:

  1. The number of registered Democrats has increased nearly 14%.
  2. We opened our first year-round headquarters in the summer of 2018 to help recruit, train, and support Democratic candidates and volunteers.
  3. We've more than DOUBLED our State legislative delegation.
  4. We elected U.S. Rep. Sharice Davids to Congress!
  5. We elected Gov. Laura Kelly, whose margin of victory was achieved in Johnson County!

While these accomplishments are worth celebrating, they pale in comparison to the opportunities that await us in 2019 and 2020.

So, we are counting on the best of us, people just like you, to help us recruit, train, and support local Democratic candidates. Your financial support combined with our growing network of volunteers will ensure we are electing Democrats to better represent the values of Johnson Countians in our local, State, and Federal governments.

And, please consider becoming a sustaining supporter of the Johnson County Democrats by making your contribution a recurring monthly donation!

Note that the maximum contribution we can accept is $5,000 per calendar year.
