The mass shooting this past March at The Covenant School in Nashville has had a profound effect on
our family. Philip had just turned one year old and attends daycare only a few miles from the shooting site. While this atrocity didn’t personally touch our family, the grief Ashley and I have felt as new parents, partially due to the proximity of this tragedy, has been immense. In years past we both have lost friends to preventable gun violence.
After 18 years in the music business, I’ve decided it’s time to take a leap in the direction of making this world a better place. This is about keeping our son and thousands of other children safe in school. I am doing this for my family and for yours.
Running for Congress is a very expensive proposition and not something we are able to self-fund. If you can contribute to the cause, it would be greatly appreciated.
