"My blue-collar, working-class family provided the opportunity for me to live in safety, get a great public education in Rochester, and graduate from UNH. They never went to High School. During WWII, my mother moved to Connecticut to be a “Rosy The Riveter," building fighter planes while my father served with the 4th Infantry Division in Europe.
After the war, my parents were able to buy a home and provide a comfortable life for my sister and me with the pay from unskilled blue-collar jobs. As an old man, I have seen the status of working people slowly decline over the years.
I will work to support a more livable and sustainable New Hampshire and work for policies that will help make “The American Dream” a possibility for every person."
