John is running to bring common-sense back to the legislature. His priorities include:


  • Repealing the state’s extreme abortion restrictions. John knows that a woman's decision to have an abortion is a deeply personal and difficult one that the government should not dictate.
  • Leading the effort to combat our community's flooding and other climate related issues by fostering proactive and creative solutions and engaging stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Instituting common sense gun safety measures like universal background checks and closing dangerous loopholes.
  • Bringing more infrastructure funding to the Lowcountry to repair our roads and bridges and reduce traffic congestion.
  • Supporting our public schools.
  • Supporting law enforcement and other first responders.
  • Protecting our natural resources so that future generations can enjoy our waterways, marshes, and beaches.
