Addiction is a terrible disease that took our friend John Kivela’s life far too soon. Now we are joining together to increase treatment options so that more people struggling with addiction can survive and thrive.
The Kivela family chose the nonprofit Great Lakes Recovery Centers Foundation to administer the new special John Kivela Legacy Fund because for nearly 35 years, GLRC has been a leader in providing professional substance abuse and mental health treatment for youth, families and adults across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
While we can’t bring John back, giving to the John Kivela Legacy Fund is one way we all can help make the world better going forward.
On behalf of the Kivela family, GLRC, and the friends of John, thank you for investing in John’s legacy.
All funds will be spent on services in the U.P. with input from the Kivela family.
