Thank you for supporting LACYD! Your membership dues help fund our events and public programs, support our operations, and help us invest in candidates and causes that are important to our members.


Student Membership

$15.00

Members may be required to present a valid student ID before participating in board or endorsement votes.


Lifetime Membership

$80.00

Lifetime memberships never expire. Members "age out" on their 36th Birthday.


Annual Membership

$25.00

Annual memberships are valid for 1 year from the date of registration.


Membership Renewal

$40.00

Returning members can register on the same day as an endorsement meeting. (details below)


If you are a returning member, you can renew your membership dues at any time. Eligibility to vote in any endorsement procedure is limited to any individual otherwise qualified for membership in the Organization after being a dues-paying member for at least four (4) calendar days before the procedure or, if previously a member of LACYD, pays dues on the same day of the endorsement procedure at the increased annual membership rate of $40 dollars or increased student membership rate of $15. No new signups will be allowed on the day of an endorsement procedure or in the preceding three (3) calendar days if the person in question has never been a member of LACYD. Returning members paying the same-day signup rates are also prohibited from signing up in the three (3) calendar days preceding an endorsement procedure.

 

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am at least eighteen years old.
Contributions to Los Angeles County Young Democrats are not tax deductible. Election law requires us to publicly report cumulative contributions of $100 or more. We may not deposit your contribution without your name, street address, occupation and employer information from individual contributors, and may not accept contributions of $100 or more made by cashier’s checks, money orders, or cash. In making this contribution, the contributor affirms that they are a United States citizen or a permanent resident. Paid for by Los Angeles County Young Democrats.
