Champions for NC Public Schools

Thanks for coming to this site to register for the event called "Champions for NC Public Schools." This event will be held at Nostalgia Hollow, 1111 N. Main St., Kannapolis NC, 28081 on June 21st, 2024, from 6-8pm.

I am Joanne Chesley, Candidate for NC House of Representatives, D-83. Serving schools since 1975 has been a true pleasure. I was blessed to have many opportunities to fight for our students and their families, through my work as a teacher and principal. As a Professor of School Leadership, I was positioned to prepare excellent, culturally competent leaders for our schools.

As School Superintendent in several districts, Maurice "Mo" Green has been a 'super advocate' for our children. He is well-respected for being progressive, compassionate, and proficient.

You can help Mo Green and me to get public school funding back on track and advocate for competitive salaries for our teachers and support personnel.
