Doug Jones not Roy Moore

Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) is appalled that Roy Moore—a disgraced former judge—is running for U.S. Senate in the Alabama special election as the Republican nominee. He was kicked off the judiciary twice for ignoring the Constitution and the Supreme Court on issues including the separation of church and equal rights.

Moore’s extremism and intolerance exposed him as unqualified. This even before alarming allegations that, as a middle-aged District Attorney, Moore had improper sexual contact with five women (to date)—one of whom was only 14 years old at the time.

Doug Jones, the Democratic Party nominee running against Moore, has shown principled stands throughout his career in public office.
