I'm not a career politician, and I'm not here because of corporate lobbyists, backroom deals, ego, or pride. I am here because of you. I know what it means to struggle, to work hard every single day just to make ends meet. And now, when the times are tough, the Executive branch seeks to make it more difficult for each of us. Well, I cannot take it anymore, so I have chosen to stand up. Now is the time! We need new leaders to rise and take on the challenge. I am ready to answer that call, as I have done before and will continue to do.
My name is Jordan J. Herrera, and I am running for office to serve you. I am a veteran, attorney, and public servant, and my entire life has been dedicated to serving others. I enlisted in the military at the age of 19, where I proudly served until I was forced to step back due to complications from PTSD. As an Airman, I worked as a biomedical equipment repair technician and earned an AAS in Biomedical Technology. I completed deployments in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, serving our nation in Iraq and Afghanistan.
After my military service, I pursued my passion for law, focusing on Intellectual Property and Technology and Entrepreneurship Law at Southwestern Law School. I now have the honor of serving you, the people of Missouri District 05, and the six million Missourians who deserve leadership that truly understands their struggles. As an attorney for the state, I am committed to fighting for the values that matter most to you, and upholding the rule of law.
The American Dream was once within reach. But for too many, that dream now feels like an impossible reality. We can’t keep waiting for others to fix this. We can’t keep relying on the same people who have failed us time and time again. I am running because I believe in our collective power—because I know we can create the change we need together.
I Stand With You.
My strength comes from the people who inspire me daily: the farmers who feed us, the law enforcement officers who protect us, the teachers and nurses who shape our future, the entrepreneurs who chart a new destiny, and the veterans who defended our freedom. I stand with those who serve our communities, who work tirelessly to make this country better, and who never ask for recognition. These are the people I fight for. These are the people I will always stand beside.
I am here to serve you. I am focused on getting to work. For too long, Washington has been mired in endless slap fights and gridlock. I will champion legislation and policy for you to ensure a prosperous America for each of us, to get us back to work, and to address the issues that hit the kitchen table and what's on your mind when you hit the pillow at night. My campaign is powered by the voices of everyday people, and I need your support to make a real difference. Every contribution—whether it’s $5, $20, or $50—is a statement that you are ready for real change. We are ready to move past the old guard and usher in new voices, new leaders, and new debates. It’s a declaration that we are done with politics as usual and that we are ready for a new kind of leadership, one that puts people first.
With your help, we will push back against the abuses against individual rights, reckless downsizing, and executive overreach we see daily in Washington and get the country going by enacting common sense and efficient legislation. We will build a movement that truly represents the values and interests of the working class and the business class. Championing smart economic policies that enhance government transparency and invest in small business. This is our time to create a future where the American Dream is within reach again. Together, we can make it happen.
I ask for your support—not just for me, but for all of us. We are stronger when we stand together. The future of our country depends on the change we are ready to bring. Let’s fight for it—together.
