I’m running as a new generation of Democrat for United States Congress in Missouri’s Fourth District.

I believe our party isn’t meeting the moment. We can, though new effective leaders. Our Constitution and the separation of powers are under attack, and we need a new generation of leaders with the energy and urgency to defend them.
I also believe promises must mean something. That starts with tackling the four to seven million housing unit shortage that’s driving home prices up and out of reach for the middle class. It means ending predatory student loan interest rates and pushing forward—not giving up—on real health care reform.
And we believe in leadership that lifts others. No one should cling to power for 20 or 30 years. We need to actively recruit and mentor the next generation of public servants—people who care more about service than status—and prepare them to carry the work forward. Term limits would help ensure that happens.
