I am Jorge Hernandez Arjona, I am 19 years old and I am the youngest latino to launch my candidacy for the Denver Public School’s Board of Education At-Large. As a former DPS latino student, I recognize that we need quite a few changes within the District such as prioritizing our teachers, limiting charter schools, using funds to increase classes of high interest for best opportunities for our students, and much more. My ideals are that every student will succeed in important positions in our future and we can only achieve this by receiving the highest education. My campaign will be your campaign, I will dedicate myself to listening to your needs and fighting for your rights. Just as I fought with teachers for their rights.
