I am Jose Delgado, your Springfield City Councilor and a lifelong resident of our beautiful city. I'm proud to serve the community that raised me — a community rich in culture, history, and potential. Every day, I fight to make Springfield a safer, fairer, and more prosperous place for every family, every neighborhood, and every generation.
I believe in a Springfield where every resident has a voice, and every neighborhood gets the resources it deserves. I'm running for re-election because our work isn't finished. Together, we've made strides:
✅ Fighting for safer streets by cracking down on speeding
✅ Passed a resolution to keep our Children safe, by cracking down on drivers who ignore stopped school busses
✅ Working to save money for tax payers as Chair of the Audit Committee
✅ Advocating for access, affordability and education of digital broadband for city residents
✅ Sponsoring Skills based hiring ordinance to ensure opportunity and fair hiring practices
- But there’s more to do:
✅ Invest in youth and education
✅ Expand access to affordable housing
✅ Support small businesses and good jobs
✅ Stand up for transparency and inclusion in City Hall
I’m running for re-election to the Springfield City Council because all residents deserve an effective leader, with experience in the private sector. I’m not about divisive, partisan politics. I’m about bringing people together, and getting things done.
TOGETHER, WE WILL MOVE SPRINGFIELD FORWARD!
