I am running for State Senate today to continue my service to Western Massachusetts. We need an experienced leader who can bring together our 12 unique communities and deliver real results for regular people.
Western Mass has always been home. My great-grandparents came from Portugal and Poland and settled in Ludlow, Palmer, and Springfield to work in the Ludlow Mills. The mills represented the opportunity of our region: good jobs, affordable living, and pristine open spaces. I’m running for State Senate to make sure that everyone, whether they have lived here for generations or are just arriving, has access to those opportunities.
I’ve secured tens of million dollars for public higher education, local infrastructure projects, and small business support, including $3 million for the redevelopment of the same Ludlow Mills where my great-grandparents worked. As State Senator, I’ll keep working to secure investments in our region. From supporting our seniors and veterans, to holding utility companies accountable, to building West-East Rail, I will be your champion.
