Joy Virginia Cunningham serves as a Justice of the Illinois Supreme Court. She previously served as a Justice of the Illinois First District Appellate Court from 2016 until 2022. Prior to attending law school, Justice Cunningham earned a degree in nursing, served as a nurse and volunteered at Planned Parenthood.
