Support Joy Bennett's Work On Mason's City Council
Joy Bennett was sworn in as a Mason City Council member on December 1, 2023. Since that time, she has build on her reputation for listening to all constituents, leading with common-sense, and elevating all voices.
She launched a first-of-its-kind newsletter in March 2024, in which she keeps residents informed of the things she's working on in city council as well as events happening in the community.
She is also launching a community-building organization called Mason for Mason, committed to facilitating conversation, connection, and service in the city.
Your donations will help cover things like:
- The costs of hosting two websites (joyformason.com and mason4mason.org) - each about $200 per year
- Sending the newsletter via Mailchimp - $45 per month or $540 for the year
- Publicizing Mason 4 Mason events, including printing costs for flyers, signs or banners, and running digital ads.
It would be nice to have the discretionary income to pay for these out of her own pocket, but Joy doesn't have that flexibility right now. Any unused funds will stay in her campaign account to assist her in running for re-election in 2027.
