I'm Justin Shore, and I'm running for the Kansas House to represent the rural corner of Sedgwick County.
I was born and raised in Grenola, a tiny town in Elk County. My father was a mechanic, and my mother was a public school teacher. My grandparents were farmers, ranchers, teachers, and seamstresses—doing whatever it took to get by. In rural Kansas, hard work is a way of life, whether working in the fields, fixing machinery, or feeding cattle before heading to jobs in the city. Sadly, that work ethic seems to be lost on the Legislature in Topeka.
I'm running not just to represent my district, but to advocate for all rural communities. In many rural areas, the school district and hospital are the largest employers—if they haven’t already been lost to consolidation or lack of funding.
I want to represent the real values of rural Kansas, not what special interest groups say our values should be. Kansans stand for:
The current legislative majority doesn't represent Kansas values or the will of the people who sent them to do the job. With your support, I will change that.
