SUPPORT J STREET'S GRASSROOTS PARTNERS: MOWIN

Missouri Wins Investor Network (MOWIN) is an organized community of individual and institutional donors working behind the scenes to assess the big picture needs, share intel, and pool resources toward the big investments that accelerate change in Missouri. MOWINs invests in organizations and leaders that drive a research-driven, multi-year strategy to transform Missouri politics. MOWIN invests in infrastructure to build a multiracial governing majority that will endure election after election. Through these investments, MOWIN hopes to transform the conditions candidates face come election time and how elected leaders can govern.

In the first four years of its existence, MOWIN has registered over 88,000 voters, helped flip 6 state House seats, and directed contributions to 17 grassroots organizations.

MOWIN invests in the organizations that provide critical and core capacities to grassroots organizations and campaigns. These organizations are the building blocks for state political power that transcends any one election or candidate, but impacts all those elections and candidates. MOWIN’s commitment to organizations is consistent, not boom and bust like political donations that come at election time. And that commitment is long term, which allows organizations to tackle long term opportunities and challenges, not just today’s candidate.
