Finding the Lost Souls

Using public records and cross tabulating them with voter registration records, our data gurus have recently discovered that there are 9,647 Democrats with a performance score of 60% or higher who have moved into Fort Bend but remain registered at their old address in another county.

Since our highest vote-getting candidate in the last election was Brian Middleton and he only lost by 2,500 votes, these people are the key to our victory.

Voter registrars are wonderful and work their butts off, but there’s no way they can reach all 9,647 of these people and find them all at home before the registration deadline. 

Here’s the plan:  We can mail each one of these people a pre-populated voter registration card with a pre paid envelope to mail it to the voter registration office.  It’s like the one below, except ours will say on the front in big colorful letters: “Hey, you’ve moved! Don’t forget to move your voter registration!”

And the cost?  Only 32 cents each.  That means we can cover all of Fort Bend for $3,087.  

I believe in this program so much that I have donated $1,000 from my own PAC for it and The Plumber’s Union #68 also gave $1,000.  So, we only have $1,087 left to raise.  

Please be a part of this so you can strut on election night that you did something that directly covered the margin of victory.  Additionally, this means these people will still be registered in 2020.

I have to raise this money by August 15^th.  So, help Fort Bend reach this goal.  And remember: most prognosticators says that state candidates will not win unless they carry Fort Bend.
