I am Julie Ann Nitsch, proven progressive leader, former ACC student and staff member, and your ACC Trustee for Board Place 9. I’m running for re-election to continue to be a champion for ACC students and workers.

Serving as your representative these past years has been an extraordinary privilege. Together, we have:

• Established a tuition-free college program.
• Increased the hourly minimum wage for ACC staff from $10 to $23.
• Doubled ACC’s investment in student childcare vouchers.
• Negotiated free CapMetro transportation passes for ACC students.
• Restructured adjunct faculty compensation to secure fair payment for all hours worked throughout the year.

In the past 8 years we have achieved so much. With your support we can achieve so much more. 

If re-elected I will continue to work tirelessly to expand educational access by fighting to keep tuition affordable, securing financial aid for those in need, advocating for policies and programs that promote equity and inclusion, and supporting workforce development programs that prepare our students for the ever-changing job market. I will also build on the gains of initiatives that I have championed to enhance student support services, improve campus infrastructure, and promote sustainability.
