Re-Elect Julie Weismann to LCC Zone 3

I am committed to ensuring LCC’s financial stability, supporting leadership in meeting the college’s goals, and addressing our community’s growing needs. As a non-traditional student who attended both LCC and the University of Oregon, and as an experienced executive director and business leader, I bring a unique perspective to the board. I understand the board represents all constituents of the college and we govern through the lens of student success.

There are two key areas I’m focusing on:

  1. Financial Stability: I’ll work closely with President Bulger and the financial team to ensure LCC has the tools to navigate uncertainty, keep costs manageable for students, and provide competitive wages for staff. During the upcoming budget process, I’ll continue to prioritize smart financial planning and support the college’s long-term sustainability.
  2. Student Access & Education Costs: I’m committed to exploring ways to reduce the financial burden on students. We need to find solutions to keep tuition affordable and ensure that our workforce training programs remain accessible to all. I’m eager to work with President Bulger on creative solutions, such as potential business partnerships that can help subsidize costs.

When students are successful, our community is successful!
