Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project (ASAP)
ASAP prevents wrongful deportations by connecting
refugee families to community support and emergency legal aid. They are currently looking for donations to provide legal aid, as well as volunteer attorneys and translators.
Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project
The Florence Project provides free legal services to men, women, and unaccompanied children detained by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) division of the Department of Homeland Security in Arizona.
Human Rights First
Human Rights First helps people living in the greater Washington D.C., New York City, and Houston metropolitan areas who do not already have legal representation, cannot afford an attorney, and need help with a claim for asylum or other protection-based form of immigration status. They are seeking donations to help provide free legal representation for asylum seeking families and children in court.
Kids in Need of Defense (KIND)
KIND partners with law firms, corporations, and law schools nationwide to represent unaccompanied immigrant and refugee children in their deportation proceedings.
Innovation Law Lab
The Innovation Law Lab deploys pro bono lawyers to immigrant detention centers and hostile judicial districts. The ILL also maintains keeping the definitive list of kids being held in custody.
Massachusetts Immigrant & Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA)
MIRA is the largest coalition in New England promoting the rights and integration of immigrants and refugees. MIRA is a leading source and advocate on progressive immigration policy and secures millions of dollars in state funding for programs that support the social, civic and
economic integration of immigrants and refugees.
Al Otro Lado
Al Otro Lado is a binational organization that works to offer legal services to deportees and migrants in Tijuana, Mexico, including deportee parents whose children remain in the U.S.
The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights
The Young Center advocates for the safety and well-being of separated children and is trying to launch a new initiative specifically centered around children affected by the Trump Administration’s zero-tolerance policy.
The National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC)
NIJC provides representation for immigrant parents and children who have been separated or are detained near the border and throughout the U.S., as well as advise federal defenders representing asylum-seekers.
Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS)
LIRS aims to provide separated children with immediate shelter and beds, medical services, counseling, and therapy to help them deal with the trauma of family separation.
