Our primary cycle has come to a close. As we gear up for November, we wanted to make a final push to help us close our IE fundraising gap to help us win our final three races:

• Mai Vang CA-07 in her recent polling us up by 4 points – she won her primary outright in June and is relying on progressives to come together in the final weeks of the race as the AIPAC and corporate-backed Matsui has begun getting an influx of her or own IE support attacking Mai

• Angela Gonzales-Torres CA-34 race has burst wide open. After multiple weak re-elections, the incumbent is under ethics investigation, and that has changed the dynamics in the local media and subsequently in the overall race. Recent polling shows Angela leading at 41% vs Rep. Jimmy Gomez at 38% as national and local progressive groups begin increasingly coalescing around Angela.

• Justin J. Pearson TN-09 is our only red to blue race this cycle as a result of redistricting. In a Trump +20 district, State Rep Pearson is polling within 4 points. He is outperforming all other red to blue races as a candidate by every metric and not receiving the same support. The experts at Cook Political Report even said this race is Democrats' best chance of winning a House seat in the entire state. Justin's race is an opportunity to not only to be at the frontlines of our modern civil rights movement but to prove to DC pundits that you can beat Republicans in a red district without capitulating to corporate PACS, AIPAC, or establishment interests.

• We need to raise $300,000 by September 30th and an additional $200,000 by October 14th to fund the remainder of our IE programs. We are less than half way towards our goal for September and right now, ANY amount helps - the earlier we receive funds, the further we can stretch its impact.
