n 2015, Justin was elected to the Prince William County School Board representing the Potomac district. While on the board, Justin has focused on teacher compensation, reducing class sizes, and supporting the special education program. In the last three years, he helped remove the previous thirty minute contract extension, provided teachers with their first back-to-back step increase since the recession, and expanded pre-K to over one hundred additional seats in the Potomac district. Justin worked with the board to accelerate the building of new schools as well as the renovations of current schools, to dramatically decrease the number of trailers used in the Potomac district.


Justin lives in the Potomac district with his wife and two boys. His wife is currently a teacher at Forest Park High school, and his oldest son attends Ashland Elementary School. Justin serves on the regional Special Education Advisory Board, is a member of the Prince William Special Needs PTA, is a member of Ashland’s Military Parents Advisory Board, and serves on the Safe Schools Advisory Council. In his free time, he enjoys making cookies with his youngest son, playing tag with his oldest, and going on family walks.
