Help send 3,000 volunteers to defeat Trump!

Hello! As some of you may know, I left my role at South Bay Youth Changemakers at the beginning of 2024 and took a break to travel and reflect on what I wanted to do next.

We are in dire times with resurgence of Trump and MAGA here in the US and other fascists internationally. It is critical for us to do everything we can to defeat Trump so our movements can build a better future.

This is why I'm joining Seed the Vote's Operations Team this election season! Seed the Vote works to build the number and power of progressive elected officials, while also blocking Trump and the far right from taking power in federal elections. We do this by organizing volunteers across the country to train and fund them to engage with voters in critical battleground states and districts. Because we know that long-term change won’t happen only through elections, we send our volunteers to local partner organizations that work year-round on social justice issues in working-class communities of color.

I’m raising money for Seed the Vote because I trust our strategy and we get the work done! I phonebanked with Seed the Vote and our Arizona partner LUCHA back in 2020, and it was a meaningful, empowering experience. Seed the Vote reminds me that there is power in numbers and with sharp strategy, we can fight for social justice and WIN!

In 2020, Biden won Arizona by 10,000 votes. Seed the Vote alone with 154 canvassers talked to 16,000 voters!

In 2024, we will send 3,000(!!!) volunteers to knock on doors in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada, and Wisconsin. Imagine what impact we can have on the election with 3000 canvassers!

Because we don’t want cost to be a barrier for anyone who wants to canvass, I’m raising funds to pay for travel & lodging for volunteers.
