I’m Kardal Coleman, Chair of the Dallas County Democratic Party. I envision a Democratic Party that empowers community, transforms systems, and serves ALL people.
Under our leadership In 2022, Democrats made gains in Dallas County by flipping 86 precincts, a seat on the now entirely Democratic, Dallas County Commissioner’s Court, and a Constable and JP office from red to blue. Democrats also held onto seats from County Judge and District Attorney to the Texas Legislature, including the redrawn HD 114. In 2023, we made history by overwhelmingly electing a slate of diverse Democrats in municipal elections.
