Contribution rules
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
Contributions are not deductible for state or federal income tax purposes.
The maximum contribution is $5,400 per person ($10,800 per couple) per candidate per election cycle. State law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer from contributing individuals. Candidates are prohibited from accepting contributions from corporations and foreign nationals. Persons are prohibited from making contributions in the name of another person.
