Karen was born in Loma Linda and graduated from medical school at Loma Linda University. She served in the US Navy as a radiologist for more than 20 years. After leaving the Navy, she started a small business to help Veterans get the benefits they deserve.
She is running for Congress in California's 23rd District as an Independent because we are caught between a party that wants government to fail and a party that can't make government work. Instead of fighting with each other, we need to work together to make sure everyone can afford to buy groceries, pay the rent, and see a doctor when they are sick.
