Karen Kane is a dedicated community leader who is actively engaged with the 18th Police District to reduce crime thru CAPS, Court Advocacy Program and local community crime reduction initiatives.


Karen is a former financial executive with extensive experience in her field. She notably served as the CFO to Marillac St. Vincent Family Services, where she stewarded the not-for-profit through a major legal entity restructuring, guided the implementation of new accounting systems, and negotiated its first Bank Line of Credit when the Illinois budget crisis hit in 2015.


Service and problem-solving is nothing new to Karen. Where complex problems exist, leaders like Karen Kane are best suited at the helm of the fight to solve them. Help her as she launches her campaign to represent our community as one our Police District Council Members.
