Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution complies with the provisions of the Ethics in Government Act, O.C.G.A. Sec 21-5-30, et seq.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
Campaign contributions may be made by individuals who are U.S. citizens or lawfully admitted permanent residents (i.e. green card holders), for-profit corporations, or PACs. Per entity, contribution limits for each election are: up to $3,000 for the Primary election, $3,000 for the General election; in the event of a run-off for either the Primary or General elections, up to $1,600 per entity may be contributed for each run-off election.
Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes. Georgia law requires us to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer for individuals whose contributions exceed $100 per election cycle.
