Aber Kawas for NY State Senate!

Meet Aber Kawas.

For more than 15 years, Aber has been at the front lines of the fight for working class New Yorkers. That includes countering police surveillance and harassment of Muslim communities, organizing for immigration reform and to abolish ICE, and fighting to raise the minimum wage.

Aber was one of the core leaders who worked with now-mayor Zohran Mamdani to launch the Not On Our Dime campaign to stop NY-based organizations from exploiting their non-profit status to fund Israel's war crimes against Palestinians.

Aber is the daughter of Palestinian refugees, a community organizer, and a democratic socialist running for New York State Senate in SD-12.

If elected, Aber will fight to tax the rich, protect immigrants, build a clean future and lower utility costs, and to end New York’s complicity in Israeli apartheid and genocide.

2026 is the year we will prove that support for Palestinian rights is a winning issue.

To do that, we need you with us. Make a donation to Aber Kawas today.
