I am a mother. I am a renter. I am an hourly worker for RTD. And I am a Colorado union member.

I am the community candidate. I grew up in Montbello and now live in Green Valley Ranch. I know how Denver has changed, and how hard it is for working families like mine to continue to live here.

For far too long, political dynasties have claimed to represent us, but we only end up with what they want us to have—not what we truly need and deserve. We can stop the endless cycle of false hope and start a new cycle of real change!

My priorities for Denver include:

• Supporting more small and local business development.
• Improving city planning to make our traffic smoother and safer.
• Offering more activities at our recreation centers for our youth.
• Bringing more city services into the district.
• Updating our parks for all generations.
• Strengthening legal protections for homeowners and tenants.
• Providing access to affordable homes, not just housing.

I am raising funds for my race to participate in Denver's Fair Elections Fund. Donations from Denver residents between $5 and $50 are matched 9 to 1. That means a $50 donation becomes $500 for my campaign. This will help me reach voters through mailers and by dropping literature at doors as I knock on them to introduce myself.
