Kayla's If Not Now FUNdRAISING

Kayla's If Not Now FUNdRAISING

Goal thermometer

Recently, I've began organizing with IfNotNow - an emergent millennial movement of young American Jews to end Jewish American support for the occupation. IfNotNow is grounded in the belief that the liberation of Jews is bound up with other oppressed groups, both in this country and in Israel/Palestine.

I began organizing with If Not Now because when I found out that any Jewish institution that didn't vocally support Israel and the occupation could not get funding, I knew something was terribly wrong in our community.

Over the past three weeks, IfNotNow has brought more than 2000 people into the streets under the banner of #JewishResistance. You can see photos from our “Day of Jewish Resistance” in 30 cities here <https://www.facebook.com/pg/IfNotNowOrg/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1196662470420719>.

Over the next few months, If Not Now  continue to build the #JewishResistance by mobilizing locally and across the nation. We want to train hundreds more people as members of IfNotNow, bring thousands more into the streets, and end the pro-Israel-at-any-cost politics that reigns in the American Jewish establishment.

However, we can’t make any of this happen without the support of our community. I have pledged to raise $100 to support this work, and I have already committed $20 myself. I am asking friends and family to consider contribute as well. Little bits add up so if 20 of you gave $5, we'd be rich! And if 5 of you gave $20, yeesh I'd reach my goal quick.
