Help KBAD keep voters safe at the polls

The Kyle/Buda-Area Democrats has community service built into the core of its mission, and we are working to fulfill this mission by keeping voters safe as they prepare to head to the polls.

As a partner in the Texas-based Dems Care Vote Safe initiative, we will provide Democratic voters with a hygienically prepared kit of protective personal equipment (PPE) that KBAD volunteers will deliver to Democratic households along with our candidate slate, candidate literature, and voting information. We initially purchased supplies to make 1,000 of these kits, but we need your financial support to expand our efforts and make a bigger impact during this upcoming election.

Any donations made through this form will help us purchase additional supplies that we will distribute as part of our get-out-the-vote efforts in the fall.

With an average total cost of almost $2 per kit and an ultimate goal of purchasing another 2,000 kits, we need to quickly raise quite a bit of money. But even small donations can go far.

• $250 will fund 125 kits
• $100 will fund 50 kits
• $60 will fund 30 kits
• $30 will fund 15 kits
• $20 will fund 10 kits
• $10 will fund 5 kits

Keep in mind when contributing that ActBlue charges us a 3.95% processing fee for all donations we receive.
