KBAD Food Drive Contributions

The Kyle/Buda-Area Democrats has community service built into the core of its mission, and there is no better way to help our neighbors in need than making sure they are well fed.

The KBAD board has voted to raise funds in support of HaysHope2Go, a stand-alone program helping food-insecure families in Hays CISD. Since November 2019, HaysHope2Go has done the following:

• Provided a week's worth of groceries to 1131 families.
• Provided take-home food bags to 986 students.
• Served more than 7,000 people and more than 107,000 meals.

HaysHope2Go is currently working on a project called Christmas2Go that will provide 115 families with 6-7 days worth of meals for students and their families over the winter break.

Please consider making a donation using our dedicated form by noon on December 18 so we can present a check to Hays Hope 2 Go for all money raised (less the 3.95% processing fee ActBlue charges per transaction).
