Happy Pride Month!

Democrats believe that LGBTQ rights are human rights.

All persons deserve to live with dignity, security, and respect, regardless of who they are or who they love.

We are still reeling from the very recent Supreme Court decision which held that gay and transgender individuals are indeed protected by the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Although this ruling is huge, we still have work to do and must amend the Elliot Larsen Civil Rights Act.

It also underscores the critical need to have more LGBTQ folks and allies in elected office. Donate $1,000, $500, $250, or $50 to the KCDP today to help make that happen.

We are asking you today to support our local candidates for office, who have not only made a commitment to our democratic values, but who are also committed to securing the rights of the LGBTQ community.

Will you join us today in donating $1,000, $500, $250, or $50 to the KCDP today so our local party can work to get our Candidates elected to keep the majority on the County Commission and ensure that the Democratic party takes control this November?

Thank you!

Vice Chair Tracy Hall & State Representative Jon Hoadley
