
Eva Diaz is an Arizona native and longtime 34-year resident of Legislative District 22. With 31 years of experience in public education as a teacher, administrator, and college instructor, she understands the needs of our public school system, and ran for office to address them. Dr. Diaz got her PhD from Arizona State in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership. She has been part of the Red for Ed movement of the Arizona Education Association, which began an aggressive fight for public education in the state in 2018. She has also been active as a volunteer and in paid positions with Chicanos Por La Causa Community Center.
Eva Diaz and her mother Ruth Diaz are co-owners of Ni Hao Amigos Language Preschool in Avondale, where their vision is to prepare young children to be successful in kindergarten. She has also served within the Children’s Ministry at her church, and on the City of Tolleson Planning and Zoning Committee.
Individuals can donate a maximum of $5,500 per person.
