Over the last few years Angel and his team have accomplished the following goals:
- Sustainably increased the amount of paid and volunteer firefighters!
- Carried out planning for future population growth, including creating a new Land Use Study with the Area Plan Commission.
- Provided health & retirement benefits for our staff.
- Recognized our firefighters' union (shout-out to IAFF Local 5383!)
- Increased Township Assistance provided to community members in need from $250 to $71,650 between 2021 and 2023! (From the 816th most to 65th most.)
- Received $365k in grants.
- Provided historic protections to 2 of our 4 cemeteries, in partnership with the City of West Lafayette.
