ABOUT ALEX KELLOFF

Alex Kelloff is a business leader, innovator, and proud Coloradan with roots in the 3rd District that stretch back more than a century. His grandfather worked the coal mines of Aguilar in the 1890s. His father was raised in the San Luis Valley, his mother studied in Grand Junction, and they were married nearly 60 years ago in Aspen.

THE KELLOFF NAME

Over generations, the Kelloff family built a legacy of community businesses across Colorado’s 3rd District—from Kelloff’s Food Markets to the world-famous Kelloff's Movie Manor. Raised in a family defined by hard work, integrity, and public service, Alex carried those values into his own career at the intersection of innovation, economic growth, and technology.

IMPACTFUL CAREER

Alex helped launch Armada Skis, blending his passion for the outdoors with job creation and economic development. At Booz Allen Hamilton, he advised federal agencies and military commands, becoming the first civilian contractor ever awarded a Marine Corps Certificate of Commendation from the Recruiting Command.

Alex went on to spend 14 years at Jefferies, rising to Head of Telecommunications Investment Banking, where he managed global mergers, acquisitions, and financial transactions focused on IT and communications infrastructure. Most recently, he served six years as a Partner and member of the Investment Committee at SDC Capital Partners, directing investments in rural broadband, data centers, and wireless infrastructure—work that directly addressed the digital divide.

U.S. CONGRESS

Now, Alex is running for Congress in one of the most competitive races in America. In Washington, he will fight to create jobs, lower costs, protect our public lands and water, safeguard seniors, and defend our democracy.
