A proud son of working-class Buffalo, Tim Kennedy has always been driven to help his community. That’s why he started his career as an occupational therapist, and it’s what led him to public service.
As a New York State Senator for 14 years, Tim delivered real results to Western New York—from securing record investments in our transportation infrastructure and increasing funding for our public schools to upholding a woman’s right to choose, protecting organized labor, and strengthening gun laws in New York.
Now, he is taking our movement to Washington, D.C. After winning a back-to-back special election and re-election in 2024, Tim is using his seat in the House of Representatives to stand up for everyone in Western New York. He’s fighting to ensure that our region is affordable, healthy, and safe for all.
