2017 JFK Recognition Dinner - Sold Out

SOLD OUT !

Thank you to all those who have purchased or reserved tickets!

On October 19th, 1963, President John F. Kennedy delivered a speech and received an Honorary Doctorate of Laws at the University of Maine. This was the last honorary degree that JFK ever received. President Kennedy was assassinated only 34 days following this occasion – on November 22, 1963.

To commemorate the 54th Anniversary of President Kennedy’s visit to the University of Maine, The Penobscot County Democratic Committee will recognize the outstanding contributions of three individuals and one family who have demonstrated exemplary leadership in continuing the legacy of John F. Kennedy’s principles and values.

This year, we are pleased and honored to present these awards to four well deserving recipients.

Secretary of State Matt Dunlap
The Honorable Mary Cathcart
