Lifelong Kennebec County resident - 2-term school board member - officer of municipal Democratic committee since 2014 and longtime active member of county committee - taking on a Republican incumbent in my first race on the "big" (non-municipal) ballot - plan to let the experienced staff in the Deeds registry do the jobs they know, but have some county government/election structure reform ideas.
I plan to be in the office during regular office hours, if I'm not testifying on relevant legislation with the support of either Kennebec County commissioners or the Maine Registry of Deeds Association or attending Board of Commissioners or Deeds Association meetings as appropriate (or taking normal personal/sick time for an employee with my number of years in with the county, which would be 0 to start with).
