Thanks so much for your support. I just completed the 2024 General Assembly Session for 2024. My colleagues and I have been working hard to move Virginia Forward. I supported legislation to prevent book bans, protect public education, support reproductive freedoms, advance gun safety measures, increase the minimum wage, and protect voting rights. Our democratic majority prevented MAGA Republicans from implementing abortion bans, restricting the right to vote, and so much more. This work must continue. In the short time since the session ended, the Governor has vetoed critical legislation including protections ensuring the right to contraception, a bill to rejoin ERIC and keep our elections secure, and restrictions on the transfer of firearms when domestic violence has occurred. Your donation will help us keep fighting to protect our democracy.
