Hello Neighbors, Friends, and Family,

I'm so proud to be representing Cortland County District 5! I was appointed to the seat after Dr. Susan Wilson stepped down, and I am committed to carrying her mantle of transparency, common sense, and partnership forward.

I add my own values to the position.

1. I am one of only 4 women in the legislature.
2. I am one of 2 legislators who are under the age of 50.
3. I am the only legislator with school-aged children.

Voices like mine-- representative of thousands of families-- are important in the decisions of Cortland County. I fully believe that diverse and varied viewpoints make for greater opportunities for creativity in problem solving and a stronger democratic process in our government, and I have been proud to add some of those varied viewpoints.

For Cortland County, I feel passionately about:

1. Improving the lives of county residents through affordable and available childcare and access to health and transportation services.
2. Collaborative answers to community problems with transparent representation.
3. Supporting the economic development of Cortland County through artistic and cultural opportunities, business prospects, and sports and leisure activities.
