At LA Forward, we're building a movement to hold our local government accountable for advancing justice.
Your donations are crucial to helping us make an impact in 2025 and building on our 2024 accomplishments!
2024 has been a year of other historic firsts for the entire LA Forward family of organizations.
Our 1st Independent Expenditures to Support Candidates:
In the face of massive spending by corporate landlords and the police union, LA Forward sponsored our first outside spending committee to re-elect LA City Councilmember Nithya Raman and then ran a 2nd committee to elect Ysabel Jurado.
Our 1st Press Conference at LA City Hall:
We organized a press conference that received a ton news coverage and helped unarmed crisis response dominate the budget conversation at LA City Hall.
Our 1st Voter Guide Covering More Than 25 Cities Across LA County:
Our 2024 voter guide was the most comprehensive and widely used resource we’ve ever produced, reaching more then 250,000 people.
Our 1st Campaign Leadership Academies:
We piloted two academies to train future candidates and staff to run successful campaigns across LA County.
Our 1st Lawsuit:
LA Forward Institute sued the City of Los Angeles to defend the Venice Dell Community affordable housing project, and affordable housing development across the City.
We couldn’t have done this without you. The work we do is only possible because of the generous support of people like you — and we need your help to continue making change.
If you believe in our work and want to see more groundbreaking victories like these, please donate today.
