Labor Day - September 6, 2021
Join us Monday, September 6 from 2-4PM for the Santa Barbara County Democratic Party’s Annual Labor Day Picnic! This year, we are Honoring Care Workers for the vital work they do assisting children, adults, the elderly, and those with medical conditions.
This year our Picnic will take place at Tucker's Grove Park.
2021 is an odd-numbered year, and traditionally these years are not busy years for campaigns and elections. But this year, we are campaigning for multiple elections all across Santa Barbara County – No on the Recall and the Santa Barbara Mayor and City Council elections. This year, we will be joined by our endorsed candidates: Mayor Cathy Murillo, Councilmember Kristen Sneddon, Councilmember Eric Friedman, and Councilmember Meagan Harmon, and many other elected and labor leaders.
Tickets for individuals are available for $25, or $15 at the student price. If you represent an organization, we hope you will join us as a sponsor and send representatives to highlight the work that your organization is doing to defend and expand the rights of working families. Your sponsorship will provide the funds we need to run a strong campaign this fall, hire an additional organizer serving North County, and produce materials Democratic candidates. Sponsors will receive admission to the picnic (including delicious BBQ chicken lunch) as well as recognition on our commemorative Labor Day poster.

- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
