Why would you want to contribute? (Other than the fact that I have an opponent contesting me to represent the new Iowa House District 72?)
According to the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, the "common good" refers to the material, cultural and institutional guarantees that members of a community ensure one another to fulfill our mutual obligation to care for the interests that we share.
Among these are access to education, health care, employment, housing, public safety, secure retirement,
not to mention the ability to participate directly in democratic self-government, without barriers.
In addition, I will highlight environmental priorities such as clean water, clean energy, climate action, a sustainable food system and access to outdoor recreation as priorities for state policymakers! Investing in nature is investing in public health and a sustainable economy!
