Donate to Hernandez, Patterson, Manos, Butler for LACCD Board of Trustees 2020

Our campaign is rooted in people that understand how to serve the community we are running for. We are all people who understand what community colleges have the potential to do for people's lives. We all had community colleges transform our lives and we want the same for members of our communities. 

Currently the community college board in Los Angeles is leaving out our most vulnerable, and excluding them from having the fighting chance at life that they deserve. Prior to the pandemic our kids have struggled through food insecurity, homelessness, unemployment, inaccessibility to technology and other necessary resources, and racist acts. The response? Continue to pay out of state(and out of touch) consultants and raise the pay of the chancellor. 

We need community members that are capable and willing to address these issues of inequality and injustice. That is why we need your support today. We are asking the community to help us during these difficult times so our students aren't met with worse outcomes. Our students cannot afford a board who won't look out for their needs on a regular basis and even worse so during a crisis. Our community deserves leaders who will look out for the well being of everyone before a crisis, during, and after. We implore you to help us be the change we all want to see in this world. Thank you.
