Become a Member of the LA County Veteran Democrats

Become a member of LACVD and help build a stronger voice for veterans and their families in the Democratic Party. Your membership supports our work to organize Democratic veterans across Los Angeles County, develop veteran leaders, advocate on issues important to our community, and support candidates and ballot measures that advance our values.

Choose the membership level that works for you:

$15 — Student / Senior / Low-Income / Recently Discharged

$25 — Annual Membership

$100 — Contributor

$500 — Lifetime Membership

Membership & Voting: Membership becomes effective upon payment of dues and completion of the LACVD membership form. Under our bylaws, new members are generally eligible to vote on Club matters governed by Articles VII and VIII after 30 days.

Initial General Election Endorsement Exception: LACVD was officially chartered on September 16, 2026. Under the Club’s bylaws, if LACVD holds its General Election endorsement membership meeting within 30 days of its chartering, members who join during this initial 30-day period and otherwise meet the Club’s membership requirements will be eligible to vote at that endorsement meeting without having to complete the normal 30-day waiting period.

After this initial formation period, the normal 30-day voting eligibility requirement will apply to new members.
